I love my son!

Brayden is growing up so fast. I cannot even believe he is already 17 months old. He is learning so much lately and is so much fun to be around. Here are some pictures recently as I was trying to put Brayden to bed.

We know where Brayden's facial features are so let's try Mommy's.

I love you Brayden.

There is nothing better than a hug from Brayden!

Basketball Training: Part 2

Playing ball is one of my favorite things to do. Here I am working on my catching. Mommy has been teaching to keep my arms out when trying to catch. This video is a little old and I have definitely improved but check out my catching skills.

Basketball Training: Part 1

So for those of you who see Brayden in person you know that one of his favorite toys are balls; whether they be basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, or pretty much anything round that resembles a ball. Ball was one of his first words and continues to be one we hear on a daily basis.

Brayden loves to play catch with Andrew. Here is a video of him showing us how to make a chest pass.

By the way, stay tuned to the blog as we have a lot of videos that we have finally gotten uploaded so we will be sharing those in the next few weeks!

Problem Solver or Naughty?

We'll let the pictures speak for themselves on this one.

I decided that Brayden was quite the problem solver. He took the cereal container out of the cupboard and decided to stand on it so he could reach.

Two Ways to Play - Which is more fun?

So I got this ball popper toy for Christmas from Oma and Papa and I love playing with it. Sometimes I don't play with it the right way though. Which way do you think I should play with it?

Want to win a cute dress?

I don't usually do this type of stuff on my blog but I wanted to pass along a great opportunity. A friend of mine has started her own business of designing and selling baby items. She has just started so she is offering a giveaway on her blog and I thought I would let you all know about it. I have had her make me a couple of different things and I love them and she is great to work with. It is so easy to enter. All you have to do is visit her site and leave a comment on her giveaway post. I have made it easy for you so all you have to do is click on the link.

http://giarosedesigns.blogspot.com/2010/03/pillowcase-dress-giveaway.html

She is going to randomly draw a number and if it is you she will make you a pillow case dress of your choice. She has all of the fabric selections listed. So if you have a daughter, granddaughter, niece, or some special little princess in your life feel free to check out Jessica's site and register to win! By the way, I have told her how lucky we are that we have a son. All though the clothes shopping would be fun I can't wait for t-ball and flag football :)

Of course I love this one with hot pink fabric! Isn't it adorable.

Here are a couple more fabric choices.

Celebrating Christmas in March

Due to the crazy winter we have we never saw Tic Toc Oma (Great Grandma) for Christmas. It had been a long time since we had seen her so last weekend we went up to visit her in Charles City. The last time we had been to her house I wasn't walking so it was much easier to keep me in the living room. We met and went out to lunch in town. The restaurant we went to didn't have Mac N Cheese so I ate some goldfish for lunch! Don't worry Mommy and Daddy fed me later.

Anyways, Tic Toc Oma has a very nicely decorated house and for those of you who don't understand what that means let me clarify. It is not toddler proof! Oma has two steps that go down into the living room and that was my favorite spot. I kept going up and down the stairs. We had a fun time playing at Oma's house.

Here is a picture of me and Tic Toc Oma.

Here is me, Daddy, and Oma.

Playing with Daddy at Oma's.

Look what I found on the floor, Mom.

Oma made us some new washcloths for Christmas. Thanks Oma!

Oma got me a giraffe alphabet puzzle. It is really neat because it is in the shape of a giraffe. I took it apart but then Mommy had to put it back together. It will be really fun to play with.
