I know what I want..

It is amazing to watch as Brayden learns new things everyday. I am so surprised at how much he knows and how quickly he learns. He has always loved the kitchen and is amused by digging in the cupboards to find new things. He has figured out that his snack foods are in the lazy susan (exhibit a) and he knows exactly what he wants (exhibit b). I guess this particular afternoon I did not realize Brayden was ready for snack earlier then expected so he made sure to show me what he wanted. He wanted a cereal bar and then he proceeded to the refrigerator where he asked for a drink so we got some milk.

Go Big Red!

Grandma Becky is trying to teach me to say Go Big Red! Since I only have a few real words in my vocabulary, I guess wearing it on my shirt will have to do. Grandma bought me this outfit since she is a such a die hard Husker fan. Daddy said he didn't like it ( he is a hawkeye fan). He said I could wear it as pajamas. Daddy was at work which meant that Mommy got me dressed so she put the Huskers outfit on me. Grandma said I look good in red!

Go Big Red!

For those of you who have seen this look in person you know just how funny it is. My mommy and daddy love this look.

Even though my Daddy is a big Iowa fan, he still let me wear my Cornhuskers outfit.

I am a growing boy, what can I say. It was Mommy fault that she was snacking while I was napping and apparently she didn't close the bag all the way when she was done. The bag was left on the floor and when I picked it up all of Grandma's chex mix fell out. I knew Mommy was probably going to take it away so I grabbed two big handfuls and tried to put as much in my mouth as I could. Lucky for me, she thought it was cute and she ran to grab the camera so I was able to actually sneak one more handful before she picked up the mess.

Meeting Cousin Parker

Yesterday Daddy, Mommy, and I went to my Great Grandparents house to meet my new cousin Parker. He is 5 weeks old already. Mommy was excited to meet him because we were about 1 year apart so it made Mommy and Daddy think back to last year at this time. Mommy was glad Auntie Jill would let her hold Parker because she loves holding little babies. Mommy said Parker was a good cuddler. I am too active to cuddle. I hadn't seen Uncle Brian in a long time so he even played with me. I enjoyed seeing everyone. It was funny because I was in the middle of the room and everyone was sitting around me so I played catch and just passed the ball around the circle. My Great Grandma Grace even made us lunch before we left. I got to eat some lefsa! It was yummy. Check out the new pictures. Sorry my mommy says there is no time to put captions but she will maybe add them later, so for now enjoy!

My New House

My Grandma Becky got me one of the coolest toys! A couple of years ago my cousin Caroline had a house that was from Discovery toys that was really neat. She loved to play in there. Caroline's school had a fundraiser for the school that included a raffle where you could win a house just like Caroline's. Well my Grandma was lucky and won so she has been saving this house. My mommy said she thought I would like it so she gave it to me. It is so much fun. This house can actually fold down so it saves lots of space and it is big enough for me and my Mommy and Daddy to all fit in there. My favorite part of the house is the mail slot. Daddy sends me books in the mail and they are delivered right into my house. I love to play in my house, thanks Grandma.
Here is Mommy and I peeking out of the Post Office to smile for Daddy.
Daddy and I are playing in my house. I even had a balloon from my birthday which also fit in my house.

Here I am playing inside my house. It is so cool because I can close the windows or open them so I can see out. I like to play peek-a-boo.
