Prom

Yesterday was my Uncle Dustin's junior prom and my mommy told me that it made he reminisce about the 3 years her and Daddy went to Prom. Mommy said there were all sorts of different colors of dresses but each year she got a different shade of pink! I think I can figure out what her favorite color is, how about you? Well anyways, last weekend when we were home visiting Oma, Papa, and Uncle Dustin we were able to get a preview of Dustin's tux. He had already picked it up from the store so he tried it on and modeled it for us. I even got my picture taken with him. His tux matched his date's dress so we can't wait to see pictures!

Easter At Grandma's

This last weekend we celebrated Easter in Algona. We made it back for a quick trip but we were able to see both sets of Grandparents and even Great-Grandparents. Lucky me, I know. Here are some pictures from Easter at Grandpa Marc and Grandma Becky's house.

Showing off my Easter PJ's. Thanks Sandi and Paul! It says Baby's First Easter and there is even a fluffy tail on the pants!

Posing with Great Grandma Grace!

4 Generation Picture: Mommy, Me, Grandpa Marc, and Great Grandpa Norbert.

I was excited to see Great Grandpa Norbert and when he first got there I was busy checking him out since it had been a while since the last time I had seen him. Mommy got out her camera to take a picture so I made sure to smile. `

New Swing!

When I was at Grandma and Grandpa's house they set up their swing just for me. My Mommy and Daddy have the same swing at their house but they haven't put it up yet. Daddy says he is going to buy some hooks for it and hang it under our deck. I am very excited because I loved swinging at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was so relaxing I actually fell asleep in the swing. Nothing better then enjoying an afternoon outside on a nice day.

Mommy why did you put these sunglasses on me? I can't see very good now, but don't worry I will fix that myself.

Wow I have an audience! I guess everyone wanted to see my reaction and just for the record, I had fun. I am sure I will be able to use that swing more often when I go to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

My Grandpa pushes pretty high so I made sure to hold on tight. I can't wait until he can give me an underdog! One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go!

Grandpa, thanks for putting the swing up and cleaning it for my first ride!

Playing with Strummer

A couple of weeks ago Mommy's friend Manda came to Ankeny and brought her little boy, Strummer. I have met Strummer before but it was fun to have a playdate. I got out some toys for us to play with and while Mommy and Manda chatted, Strummer and I played. We are about the same age. Mommy took some pictures of me playing with Strummer so we can compare them as we grow and see how much we change.

Here is Strummer and his mommy, Manda.

Look how nice we played together!

Hey there Strummer!

Mommy says it was so cute to see us look at each other and "talk". Thanks Strummer for coming over to play!

Happy Easter!

This last week we took Brayden to go meet the Easter Bunny at the mall. He liked the Easter Bunny a lot better than he did Santa. He even liked feeling his soft fur. Here are some pictures of our visit.

Hey Mom, The Easter Bunny is pretty nice!

Wow you have really soft fur. Do you mind if I rub it? It kind of reminds me of those books I have where I can feel the fur of the animals!

Mommy makes me laugh

I never get tired of Mommy giving me attention and making me laugh. She is so much fun. What she doesn't know is that when I can tickle her back, she is going to get it.

To Grandmothers/Omas House We Go!

My Mommy and Daddy took me on a road trip a couple of weeks ago to their hometown. My mommy and daddy met when they were in high school which means that both of my Grandma and Grandpas live in the same town. When I go home I get to see everyone at once, mommy says it is very convenient! Some fun things I did included: going out for Mexican food (Yummy), taking a bath in Oma's sink, playing with Grandma and Grandpa, seeing Oma's fish, and hanging out with Uncle Dustin. Daddy had fun playing Dominos at Oma's house but Mommy and I were too tired to play so we went to bed. It was a fun weekend but I was sure tired when we got home.

Hey there Mom! I am just hanging out with Grandma Becky.

Grandma Becky how do I make this go again? I was sitting up and when you push the driver down the bus would move across the floor all by itself. Cool toy, Grandma.

Grandpa Marc likes to spoil me. He told me that we have the same hairline! Yikes! If that is the case I am in trouble because he doesn't have much hair left on the top of his head.

Oma made us a yummy dinner and it was fun because I got to sit in the high chair at the table with the big kids. While everyone else ate steak I ate peas. I can't wait till I get eat big kid food.

Oma, I see Fred the fish. He was swimming around in his tank.

Hanging out with Uncle Dustin. Mommy took a couple of pictures and we found out that Uncle Dustin and I have something in common, closing our eyes for pictures!
