My New Slide

I got a new toy last week and it is so much fun! It is a toddler climber! I love to crawl under it, climb up it, and slide down it. I love it!

I am ready to slide down!

Peek-a-boo, I see you!

Please, just one more time before I go to bed?

Playdate with Strummer

A couple of weeks ago my friend Strummer came over to play. His mommy, Manda, and my Godmother, Sara also came. We were having beautiful weather so we took my ball pit and water table outside. While we were playing we even had a little family of ducks want to come play too. After playing at our house, Manda, Strummer, Mommy, and me went out to lunch. After lunch we went and met back up with Sara and went to the mall and Mommy let me play at the play area there. She has never let me do that before because usually there are big kids who don't usually watch out for us little guys but today was a great day as it wasn't very busy. I had a lot of fun. While Strummer was at our house Mommy also pointed out that his 1st tooth had popped through. We were so excited to see his first tooth. Here are some pictures from my fun day.

Look Grandpa Marc, I have my own boat just like you.

I even shared my toys with Strummer.

Yeah! We scored 4 points! I showed Strummer how to throw the basketball into the hoop.

Check out my hair! It is getting so long! Mommy and I having a great time in our backyard!

This is my Godmother, Sara, and I!

Mommy likes taking self-portraits too!

Here are our little friends trying to crash our playdate!

Bass Pro Shops Grand Opening

I am not much of a hunter, fisherman, or even an outdoorsman...but I went to Bass Pro anyways and saw a bunch of famous people. They said hi to me and even scribbled something on their pictures that they gave me.

It was a rainy grand opening.

Mommy and I waited in line for awhile, but then Daddy came from work and took me through the autograph line.

Dan Gable gave me a high five!

I saw Dan, Kraig Kinser, Terry McCarl, Paul Krause, and Martin Truex Jr.

Martin and Kraig were talking to me.

Martin even posed for a picture with me and Daddy, but the guy that was behind us kind of got in the way.

Mommy and me standing by the big fish tank.

It was time for us to get going, but I got one last picture with Mommy and the "Black Widow," Jeanette Lee.

Swimming at Oak Lake

My mommy always knew I would be a little fish like her but this was confirmed when I went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We went down by the lake one night and were just going to play in the sand but then I ended up going in the water with my clothes on. It was a lot of fun. I even tried to crawl in the water until I realized it got deeper the farther I crawled. The next morning Mommy, Grandma Becky, and I all went out in our swimming suits. We went and played on the sand and then went swimming. Thankfully we had some really hot days last week so the water was pretty warm too.

Hey everybody!

Practicing walking in the sand.

Look at my duck floaty. It took me a while to adjust to sitting in this floaty. I would rather have my Mommy or Grandma hold me than sit in here.

I love my Mommy and I love to swim! I was having so much fun. Thanks Grandma Becky for taking these pictures!

Mommy: "How big is Brayden? SO BIG"

We went swimming in our clothes!

I decided instead of just playing in the sand that I wanted to test out the waters, so we did!

Interstate Battery Day at the Iowa Cubs

On Monday, Daddy's work sponsored the I-Cubs game. They brought snow to Iowa in August. They had fake snow and even had a hill you could sled down. I was too little but maybe in a few years. Monday they also allowed people to bring their dogs to the game. We saw lots of puppies around the stadium. We didn't stay for the whole game because it was past my bedtime but we had a fun time.

Umm Daddy, who is that bear and what is he doing?

This is Interstate's stretch limo. It is usually at their home office in Dallas but they drove it up for the I-Cubs game.

They also brought the Interstate race car. It is driven by Kyle Busch.

Here is Mommy and Me with Principal Park in the background.

Daddy and I are ready for the game with our cool shades on!

Da-da

Lately I have been talking up a storm. My new favorite syllable is da. I say da-da all the time. Mommy was able to get me saying it on camera. Just so no one worries, I didn't get hurt when I fell backwards.
