The Johnson Family Farm
I had never been to my Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Johnson's house before so I went on a road trip with Grandma Becky, Grandpa Marc, Mommy, and my Daddy. Great Grandma Grace and Great Grandpa Johnson used to live on a farm when my Mommy was growing up. She remembers riding in the fields. They don't live at the farm anymore but they still have the land so we went out there. It was a lot of fun. I got to sit on an old tractor, walk by the old pig barn, pick an apple off an apple tree, sit in front of a really tall grain bin, and stand by some really tall corn. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from our fun adventure.
Is this heaven Daddy? No, this is Iowa.
Here comes Brayden
This is just a quick post because Brayden and I are busy playing but I thought this was too funny and definitely post worthy. Brayden has been pulling himself to stand up for weeks now, but he has never attempted his crib or pack-n-play. I took a quick shower and when I got done I found Brayden like this! What a big boy and look at that smile, he was so proud of himself!
Hey Mom, look at me!
Of all of Brayden's toys in the living room he loves to flip through our photo albums!
Auntie Jill's Baby Shower
On Saturday Mommy and I traveled to Minnesota to go to my Auntie Jill's baby shower. I am going to have a new baby cousin in September. We will be almost a year apart! She is having a baby boy so that means I will get to play trucks and build blocks with him. It will be a lot of fun. I hadn't seen Auntie Jill in a long time so I was kind of shocked when I saw how big her tummy was getting. She got lots of nice presents for my baby cousin so I know he is well loved already. I even made her and my Uncle Brian a home made card. Mommy made Jill a diaper cake. It turned out really cute for her 1st one! Here are some pictures from her Baby Shower.

Hmm, you mean that there is a baby in there Auntie Jill? Where I can't feel it?

We were playing a game where you had to put a paper plate on top of your head and draw a baby. My mommy drew a stick person but the head wasn't attached to the body.

Jeannie was very precise and took her time drawing and she ended up winning a prize because it was so good!

Look at all those presents for my new cousin!

This is the toy I picked out for Baby Clennon. It is a Taggies Stacking ring. I thought it looked fun at the store when I played with it so I hope Baby C likes it too!

When I was at Auntie Jill's shower I got to play with Carissa, who is Auntie Jill's niece on Brian's side of the family. She was a lot of fun!
Here is my Auntie Jill and the two hostesses of the shower. They are her sister-in-laws, Kari and Tena. They threw a great party! Thanks for inviting us!

Iowa Barnstormers
It is official I have made an appearance at all of the sports teams in Des Moines. If I had to pick a favorite I think it would be the Barnstormers and my least favorite would be the Iowa Energy( they had a loud buzzer and we were in the front row so I didn't like it very much) Daddy got us some tickets to an Iowa Barnstormers game. They are an arena football team. They play on a little field and have a soft football but the other rules are the same as football, or so my Mommy thinks. I guess we aren't loyal fans though because we did not take a cowbell. Thankfully some of the other people around us forgot too because they can get pretty loud. The Barnstormers are pretty good so they won by 30 points. I had such a fun time we stayed for the whole game! Mommy really enjoyed the game too. Daddy said we could leave early but she wanted to stay till the end.
Here we are ready to experience our first Barnstormers game!

Last weekend I got to go to my first parade at Summerfest. There were so many people there we were behind the sidewalk! It was a great place for my first parade. It was a beautiful day. Here are some pictures.

Iowa Cubs Game
I had been to an Iowa Energy basketball game, a Twins baseball game, and a Iowa Chops hockey game so it was time to hit up the Iowa Cubs game. We invited Nathan and Hannah to come too so they made the trip down to our house and then we all went to the game together. Even though they had just been to the Chicago Cubs game they came too. I think Nathan just really likes baseball. It was a great night for a game. We won! It wasn't the most exciting game but I made sure to add a little excitement by making friends sitting around us, spilling Mommy's strawberry smoothie all over, and even having my face shown on the Jumbotron out in center field. After the game they had fireworks so I got a preview of what the 4th of July would be like. Daddy said my expression was stunned. I didn't cry, didn't smile, I just watched. I reminded him it was just my first time seeing bright colors exploding in the sky so I was taking it all in. I had a great time and was so tired I was asleep within 3 blocks in the car. Thanks for coming Nathan and Hannah!
Here is me posing with Mommy and Hannah!
